15-22 December 2025

On the beautiful Island of the Gods, sitting high on the Bukit Peninsula in Uluwatu, overlooking the beautiful blue sea, with views stretching on all the way to Nusa Penida, is a beautiful Yoga center, Salty Prana located. Bali's chilled, laid-back, stunning energy is captivated in the retreat’s space, making it a perfect venue for a tropical retreat with an authentic Bali experience.

The rooms are designed in a Boho eclectic Bali beach vibe. And can accommodate, Single/ Double/ Twin share or Dorm style sleeping arrangements. The retreat can host up to 24 guests, so you can bring all your besties with you. The rooftop shala is surrounded by glass railings, which undeniably gives a sense of practicing in the clouds. With a panoramic ocean view, you would think you’re floating on the waves. There is also an enclosed shala with AC for our indoor practices. Where I will serve you delicious Yin Yoga classes, that will relax, restore and rejuvenate your body and senses after a day surfing or exploring Uluwatu. The rooftop shala has an all-round view of the sunrise and the sunset. So I will be serving you with a sunrise and a sunset Vinyasa flow, for your senses to bathe in the peaceful serenity of the sun.

Melt your thoughts away in a 15 person sauna and plunge in a large ice bath, to reset your immune system. Drink a coconut at the poolside deck and soak up the smoldering Bali weather in between classes.

Connect with your Prana

Set in a serene natural environment, this retreat is a sanctuary for those seeking balance, clarity, and vitality. Over the course of [7 days], you'll explore the powerful techniques of Pranayama—the yogic science of breath control—to awaken your inner energy, calm the mind, and deepen your connection with the present moment.

Through mindful yoga flows, where we connect with our breath, through deep breathing techniques, we connect with and activate our Prana ( our lifeforce energy ). By retaining the breath with energy locks ( Bandas ),  we lock this energy into our bodies.

The classes I serve you with are a mix of Hatha, Vinyasa, Yin / Restorative, Infused with Qi Gong, Pranayama, meditation and Sound healing. Everything your senses need for a deep spiritual transformation. Let breathwork, sound bathing and ancient practices guide you in a deeper connection with your inner self. Touching the boundaries of spirituality and inner peace.

In the silence between inhale and exhale lies a doorway to the Divine. Join us on a sacred journey into the subtle realms of the breath—Prana, the vital life force that animates all of creation. Nestled in a space of natural beauty and deep stillness, this retreat is a sacred container for self-discovery, healing, and spiritual renewal.

Through the ancient yogic science of Pranayama, we gently cleanse the energetic pathways (nadis), awaken dormant energies, and invite the heart to open fully to the present moment. This is not merely a breathing practice, but a path of remembrance, a return to your innermost essence.

Why come?

Why Go on a Pranayama Retreat?

In the midst of our busy, overstimulated lives, the breath becomes shallow, the nervous system frayed, and the spirit weary. A Pranayama retreat is a sacred pause—an invitation to return to the source of life itself: the breath.

Here’s why this kind of retreat can be truly transformational:

🌬️ Reconnect with Life Force (Prana)

Pranayama is more than breathwork—it is the conscious channeling of Prana, the vital energy that sustains body, mind, and soul. On retreat, you learn to harness this energy to uplift your awareness and restore inner balance.

🧘‍♀️ Deepen Your Spiritual Practice

Away from distractions, you have space to go inward. Pranayama opens the doorway to meditation, inner silence, and states of deep spiritual stillness. It helps purify the nadis (energy channels), align the chakras, and awaken consciousness.

🌿 Heal, Cleanse, and Renew

Daily breathwork gently detoxifies the body, calms the mind, and nourishes the nervous system. It supports healing on all levels—physical, emotional, energetic—and leaves you feeling lighter, clearer, and more at peace.

🕊️ Remember Who You Truly Are

As you breathe consciously and sit in stillness, the layers of conditioning begin to soften. You touch the truth of your being—spacious, timeless, connected. The retreat becomes not a getaway, but a return to your Self.

“In the breath, we remember the eternal. In the stillness, we meet the soul.”

A Pranayama retreat is not just a trip—it’s a pilgrimage inward, guided by breath, silence, and sacred intention.

Why during the Solstice?

A Solstice Yoga Retreat is more than a getaway. It’s a ritual of renewal, a space to pause, reflect, and realign with your truest intentions.

🌿 Reasons to Come:

Honor the Turning of the Wheel
The solstice marks a moment of powerful transition. Whether winter's descent into quiet or summer's radiant peak, it's a time to honor endings and welcome beginnings—on the mat, and in your life.

🧘 Deepen Your Practice in Sacred Space
Surrounded by nature, held in community, and guided by the energy of the season, your yoga, breath, and meditation practices deepen into something more profound—a sacred inner pilgrimage.

🌞 Reconnect with Your Inner Light
Just as the sun shifts in the sky, you’ll be invited to connect with the light within. The retreat becomes a sanctuary to nourish your spirit, release old layers, and rediscover your inner radiance.

🔥 Embody Intention, Release, and Renewal
Through ritual, movement, stillness, and reflection, you’ll consciously let go of what no longer serves you and plant the seeds of what’s ready to grow—in alignment with your soul's rhythm.

🌌 Awaken to the Magic of Presence
Step out of the noise and into the Now. The stillness of the solstice offers a rare gift: space to listen, to feel, to simply be. And from that presence, profound transformation is born.

Do you need more reasons to come??

We always recommend packing light as you can always buy inexpensive clothes, toiletries, and footwear at the shopping streets of Uluwatu.

  • There are no pets allowed at this venue, also Bali has a strict policy on bringing pets to the Island, due to all the stay dogs on the streets. It’s better to leave your pets at home

  • We do not have any facilities for children at Salty Prana, so if you would like to visit our retreat while on vacation with your family, we recommend you stay at neighbouring resorts and join us on a retreat class package. Send me an email before booking, so we can arange a retreat package without accomodation.

  • The roads in Uluwatu are gaotic, full of holes, hills, turns and crazy traffic. Driving around here on a scooter or motorbike is not for the faint hearted. It’s challenging even for good riders. But if you want to take the risk, you can rent a bike almost anywhere. Just make sure you have an international driver’s license. And a good insurance. incase police pulls you over. However, if you don’t want to risk it, Grab and Gojek have a perfect transpotation system, anywhere on Bali. You can download the app and book a car or a bike with driver for very little money, from any location. But don’t get on a Grab or Gojek bike that you meet on the street, without asking a price first. They will try to rip you off and ask for way more money when you reach your destination. Always book with the app to get the best price.

  • The average temperature is around 26-27°C all year round, with a humidity of around 85-90%. The water temperature is always pleasant. The two seasons, the rainy season and the dry season, are not clearly defined and completely predictable. Christmas and New Year are the high season in Bali, although technically it is the rainy season. Just make sure you dress for tropical weather with a chance of rain. Rain ponchos are available everywhere. But it can’t hurt to bring your own.

  • Please ask your doktor about any vaccinations you need to take before hand. For some vaccines you need to take 6 weeks before coming to Bali. Make sure you’re well informed.
